Thank you so much for submitting to Issue 11 of Ink & Marrow. After careful and generous consideration, we won’t be able to include your work in this issue, but we want you to know how meaningful it was to spend time with your poems.

Sharing your work takes courage, and that courage was felt on our end. This decision is not a reflection of the strength or potential of your writing. Our selections are shaped by fit, balance, and the particular conversation this issue is holding, and many strong pieces simply could not be included.

We sincerely hope you’ll submit again. Your voice belongs in literary spaces, and we would be glad to read your work in a future issue of Ink & Marrow.
