As a monthly publication, we work to select poems that speak to each other and reflect a range of poetic styles and themes. This means that many excellent poems will not be selected for a given issue. We also want to be sure that the poems we publish get readers' full attention, so we limit the number of poems in each issue.

Unfortunately, we did not select your poems for this issue. As more issues of Anacapa Review become available online, we hope you will be inspired by the poems we have selected and allow us to consider your work in the future.
