2022

Firstly, thank you very much indeed for submitting your work to Inkwell Journal. Secondly, please accept my apologies for the abysmal length of time it has taken to get back to you.

We were overwhelmed by both the quantity and the quality of submissions we received for this issue, and also by internal issues, as Lori Soderlind left her position as Manhattanville's MFA Creative Writing Director and Inkwell's Editor-In-Chief back in the Fall, and we have sorely missed her leadership. I have especially!

Your work was reviewed several times, and made it through to the final selection rounds, though I am afraid we have to conclude we do not have space for it in our next issue.

We wish you the very best of luck placing this work elsewhere, and hope you will consider submitting future pieces to Inkwell.

Stay safe, and please keep producing!

Best,

Alastair Murdoch
