Thank you so much for your submission to the BLUE EARTH REVIEW, Minnesota State University, Mankato's literary journal. Your story was read with care by our fiction editors and was unfortunately deemed not quite a fit for our current issue. Our submission window reopens on September 9, and we very much hope that you'll submit to our journal for the 2013-2014 issue.

Also, we would like to apologize for our delay in response. We had several technical issues over the past year including the accidental deletion of our submission manager and software by our university's tech department. We appreciate your patience and hope for the opportunity to review your work in the future.

All the best,

Lindsy O'Brien Deanna Larsen
