NOVEMBER 2025

Dear FIRST NAME,

Thank you for submitting your poetry to Sheila-Na-Gig online. Although we did not select your work for our upcoming issue, we appreciate your interest in the journal and the opportunity to read your poems.

For each issue we publish, we generally receive up to 200 submissions and select about 18% - 23% of these for our 35-45 poets issues (not including our Sheila-Na-Gig Editions authors who have published books with us). We strive to support our frequent contributors as well as to welcome writers new to Sheila-Na-Gig online for about 1/2 of each issue.

We always welcome writers to try again.

Best wishes for all your creative endeavors, Hayley Haugen & Barbara Sabol (Associate Editor & Curator, Winter Issue)
