Yemassee publishes all genres and forms of writing, including poetry, fiction, drama, nonfiction, reviews, and interviews. We publish in the fall and spring, printing three to five stories and twelve to fifteen poems per issue. We tend to solicit reviews, essays, and interviews but welcome unsolicited queries. We do not favor any particular aesthetic or school of writing. Quality of writing is our only concern.

Southern California Review (SCR) is the student-run literary journal of the Master of Professional Writing (MPW) Program at the University of Southern California (USC). We have been publishing fiction and poetry since 1982 and now also accept submissions of creative nonfiction and short dramatic forms. Printed annually with original cover artwork, every issue contains exciting work by new, emerging and established authors.
